Our office is right on Main street in the awesome town of Salina, Utah.  One of the landmarks of our community is the famous Mom’s Cafe.  It has been visited by many celebrities, newspapers and magazines.  Mom’s Cafe is listed in all of the travel guides for a great place to stop along your travels of I-70, US89 and old HWY 50.

Almost everyday we have people come by our office to use the internet that have seen our office from Mom’s Cafe.  For some time we have thought of putting a Hotspot there.  After testing many programs and services claiming to offer great hotspot service, we have switched over to Hotspot Systems. They provide firmware for a whole variety of equipment, including one of our favorites, Ubiquity.  They also offer a variety of payment and service plans to fit your needs.  I really like that I can print my own sign, stickers and posters advertising a WiFi hotspot located here. I just put one in our window and will walk several into Mom’s Cafe. Set-up is easy and their customer service is just an email away.

We selected the Ubiquity Power Station with a built in 17db antenna.  It is rugged and self contained.  We have had one mounted on a 10,000 ft mountain for over a year now.  It looks as good as new, and has seen one of Utah’s worst winters.  In its over a year of operation, it has operated off of solar and wind power.  It has not even lost signal for one day.  That speaks ton’s of this great radio.
